At a rest area west of Comanche Springs. (Ft. Stockton Tx).
Very disapointed. The sign says "wireless internet" coming into the rest area. One would therefore assume it's provided by the state and therefore free?....kinda like the water and the restrooms?
Nope.....commercial endeavor called Road Connect. Requires password and userID. Presumably cost. Can't get on.
Bah-fooey.
I'm using Cingular...Sprint doesn't work. Slower than a glacier in January.
Nuked a can of chili. Purty gud. (a little Kerry talk there...gotta luv them dems.)
'Bout 200 more to go and I'll be there.....
