John: Yup...Jan 31st. I can't help you with the "pink"...sorry.
Wayne:..dunno if there IS yet a max on the tower bases. It seems that each set is bigger than the last.
Right now schnauble's are the only way to go for over the road. The tower sections are too large for conventional trailers.
I saw a "blade train" the other day. A train of flatbeds loaded with nothing but windmill blades. I was told that they were doing that with towers too. I suppose that's the way the really big ones will be moved from now on. Trucks will do the last few miles.
Come to think of it I saw that happen several years ago.
