About ten years ago I was offered a "high dollar" load to go back. I said that I wouldn't go back to that place unless they paid me LOTS of money.

About five years ago, when offered lots of money to go back. I said that I wouldn't go back to that place unless I had front and rear escorts to look out for me PLUS lots and lots of money.
............and I didn't go.
About a year ago I decided that I wouldn't go back to that place unless I had POLICE escorts to look out for us , PLUS front and rear escorts to look out for me, PLUS and obscene lot of money.
.................I'm going back.
To New York City....or at least the edge of it.
It's a Bridge Project. It's seems they really, really, REALLY want me to go...apparently I do well on projects....well enough anyway.
Bridge beams.
Four foot tall, Thirteen foot wide, Fifty three foot long........and a hundred or so thousand pounds.
Many, many, many, many bridge beams.
Thirty miles ........round trip....at night.
Gonna last a long time too....months. And they're way behind on the project right now.
I'm in Missouri right now....heading East.
Maybe I should have held out for more......but I need the money.
